  • I am a law professor who specializes in discrimination law and civil
    rights, studying and advocating for equality, fairness, and respect
    under the law.

  • I have been a long-time advocate of equality for all residents,
    regardless of race, sex, pregnancy, disability, religion, national
    origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and
    political affiliation.

  • I have been a constant advocate for expanding civil rights to those
    most vulnerable in our society.

    respect and dignity.

  • I have been fighting against discrimination all of my life, and I will
    continue to do as a commissioner.
